Heroes to Hives
What is Heroes to Hives?
Heroes to Hives is one of the world’s largest beginning beekeeping education programs. For the last decade we have trained over 19,000 US military members and their families in the art and science of beekeeping and starting January 1, 2026, we are opening this amazing educational opportunity to anyone passionate about learning how to support the world’s most important managed pollinator, Apis mellifera. All curriculum will be available for free through our YouTube channel so you can go through the material at your pace. Subscribe to our YouTube channel now to receive notifications so that you can stay up to date as we undergo this exciting new change to our course and click on the H2H course tab above to learn more about the details of the program including a full list of curriculum covered in the course.

Support Heroes to Hives Alumni Owned Beekeeping Businesses
Many Heroes to Hives Alumni go on to be successful small business owners. We host a nationwide map of Alumni that you can purchase a variety of honey bee products from at the link below. By supporting Heroes to Hives alumni you are supporting military families and US honey producers.

Our Partners
We work with a large network of Universities, Non-Profits, and For-Profit organizations to provide free expert instruction on beekeeping at apiaries across the US.
